This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Feb. 17-24, 2026. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
February 17
Accident: A report of one vehicle being involved in a crash on Pleasant Avenue was received by police at 12:29 p.m. The vehicle was damaged but no injuries were reported.
Accident: Officers responded to an accident in which one car was T-boned by another at 4:55 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 13 and Franklin Trail. Minor injuries were reported. The Minnesota State Patrol arrived at the scene and filed the report.
Fire: Police received a report at 8:03 p.m. at a home on Pleasant Street. Upon arrival they found a resident was having a bonfire and was about to put it out before going inside. Notification to the Prior Lake Fire Department was cancelled.

February 18
Harassment: A resident of Tahinka Court called police at 11:40 a.m. to report a high school picture of him had been posted on a Facebook account which was eventually deleted.
Assist: Police located a vehicle that had slid off the roadway at 2:59 p.m. near Highway 13 and 150th Street. The driver requested that a towing service be contacted; there was no damage to the vehicle.
Accident: A minor accident occurred at 3:51 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and Main Avenue. Parties exchanged information prior to police arriving and requested no further assistance.
Nuisance: Police received a report of a nuisance solicitor on Basswood Circle at 3:26 p.m.
Accident: A two-vehicle accident occurred at 3:57 p.m. in the roundabout located at Highway 13 and County Road 21. The eastbound vehicle on County Road 21 was stopped, while the second vehicle heading south on Highway 13 lost control and spun out, hitting the headlight of the other vehicle. Both vehicles were drivable and no injuries were reported. Heavy snow and icy conditions were present at the time of the accident.
Accident: Two vehicles collided in the roundabout at Highway 13 and County Road 21 at 4:14 p.m. One driver was traveling eastbound on County Road 21 when it was hit by another behind him who was unable to stop due to snow and ice. The first vehicle had minor rear-end damage; the second vehicle had damage to the grill and hood. No injuries were reported and both vehicles were drivable. Officers reported roads were snow-covered and icy at the time of the crash.
Accident: No injuries were sustained in a two-vehicle accident that occurred at 5:01 p.m. on Dakota Trail. One vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper and front driver’s side quarter panel, while the second vehicle had damage to the driver’s side rear quarter panel. Both vehicles were drivable and accident exchange forms were completed by both parties.
Accident: Police received a report at 6:05 p.m. of a car being in the ditch at County Road 42 and Mystic Lake Drive. The driver said her car was out of gas and stuck. A courtesy ride was given by police and the driver said she would arrange for pickup of her car.

February 19
Accident: A driver pulled into the parking lot of a building on Jordan Avenue at 8:04 a.m. and said her vehicle malfunctioned when she hit the brake, which caused the car to accelerate. The vehicle struck the building, causing structural damage. The car also sustained front end damage and could no longer be driven. No injuries were reported.
Traffic Criminal: A 51-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested at 8:38 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 21 and Raspberry Ridge Road for misdemeanor fourth degree DWI and petty misdemeanor driving over the center line.

February 20
Hazard: Police received a report at midnight of a table located in the middle of the roadway at Mystic Lake Drive and County Road 42. Police investigated and could not find the table.
Motor Vehicle: Police received a report at 4:17 a.m. regarding a suspicious male going through a vehicle on Wilderness Trail. Officers checked the area and located the person matching the description provided by the caller. He was released following questioning.

February 21
Nuisance: Police were called to Willow Beach Street at 1:52 a.m. after a resident reported a vehicle being wrapped in toilet paper. Officers observed the same upon arrival, along with toilet paper being thrown into a tree. No damage was observed. Officers checked the area and were unable to locate the suspect’s vehicle.
Accident: Police received a report at 3:04 a.m. of a vehicle in the ditch on Langford Boulevard. The vehicle was abandoned and locked. A towing service was called. Its owner later contacted police about where the vehicle had been taken.
Accident: The driver of a vehicle attempting to enter Highway 13 at 10:36 a.m. from the parking lot near The Pointe was rear-ended by another vehicle that hit a skid, causing minor damage. No injuries were reported and the parties exchanged information.
Traffic Criminal: A 48-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested near the intersection of County Road 21 and Marsh Street for fourth degree DWI and fourth degree driving while impaired.

February 22
Nuisance: A resident of Wild Horse Pass called police at 12:16 a.m. to report her garage doors had been egged. She suspected it might have been done by friends of her son.
Traffic Criminal: A 43-year-old Rosemount woman was arrested for gross misdemeanor DWI operating a vehicle under the influence, gross misdemeanor third degree driving while impaired, petty misdemeanor failure to drive in a single lane, petty misdemeanor failure to signal a turn and petty misdemeanor for lights not being displayed from sunset to sunrise.
Fraud: A West Woodland Trail resident called police at 7:25 p.m. to report her daughter’s iCloud account had been hacked. The resident was advised to call her cell phone provider to have them assist with resetting her account.
Traffic Criminal: A 32-year-old Brooklyn Center man was arrested for felony first degree driving while impaired, felony fifth degree possession and gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation.

February 23
Accident: A driver traveling on Dakota Street at 7:43 a.m. hit an unoccupied car that was parked near Arcadia Street. Two juveniles were passengers in the car and all were checked by paramedics but declined transport to the hospital. Paramedics drove them home, and the vehicle was towed due to disabling damage.
Motor Vehicle: Police investigated a report of vehicle tampering at 9:57 a.m. on Fish Point Road. The case is pending processing.
Found: A resident living on Station Place called police at 1:07 p.m. to report a package was delivered to her address by mistake which included only a partial name and address, along with a Sam’s Club tracking number. The package contained two coffee containers and two cans of chicken breast. The reporting party contacted Sam’s Club, provided the tracking number, and was advised that she could keep the items or donate them. The store would resend the merchandise to the correct address.
Fire: A structure fire on County Road 42 was reported at 7:20 p.m. The Prior Lake Police Department and Fire Department arrived on the scene and located some electrical areas that began smoldering.
Traffic Criminal: A warrant was issued for a 65-year-old Jordan woman for two counts of criminal vehicular operation and causing great bodily harm.

February 24
Drugs: A 30-year-old man from Red Wing was arrested for fifth degree possession of fentanyl at 2:51 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
