Stolen Vehicle: Police received a report of a stolen vehicle at 1:41 p.m. from a party on Shoreline Boulevard. The case is under investigation.

Stolen Vehicle: A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 6:40 p.m. from a resident on Dakota Street.
Theft: A 33-year-old Robbinsdale man was cited for misdemeanor theft, misdemeanor trespass and giving false information to a police officer. The incident occurred at 7:24 p.m. on Mystic Lake Drive.
Medical: Police responded to the following request for medical assistance from this location with time noted: Northwood Road, 11:33 p.m.
April 8, 2026
Warrant: A 33-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 8:44 a.m. on Five Hawks Avenue for a felony warrant from Florida, failure to appear, third-degree unlawful use of a two-way communication device and felony second-degree false report of a bomb, explosive or weapon of mass destruction.
Hazard: Police assisted at 8:55 a.m. in removing a goose and a beaver that had been driven over near Oakland Beach Avenue and Highway 13.
Accident: An accident was reported to police at 12:25 p.m. that occurred on Duluth Avenue. One vehicle had backed out of a parking spot and was hit by another. The driver of the second vehicle thought the other vehicle had already pulled away. Information was exchanged between the parties; there were no injuries.
Traffic Criminal: A 48-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for third-degree DWI while operating a motor vehicle and having a blood alcohol level of .17. The stop was made at 1:34 p.m. near the intersection of Turner Drive and Hickory Circle.
Traffic Criminal: A 38-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on Duluth Avenue at 3:12 p.m. for gross misdemeanor second-degree driving while impaired with two or more aggravating factors and having a blood alcohol level of .36.
Accident: An accident resulting in injuries occurred at 9:18 p.m. near the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and 154th Street. The case is pending processing.
Accident: No injuries were reported to police following an accident that occurred at 10:11 p.m. near Mystic Lake Drive and County Road 42. One vehicle failed to yield to the other on a flashing yellow light. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Accident: Two vehicles collided near the intersection of County Road 42 and Crest Avenue at 11:28 a.m. The air bags in both vehicles were deployed due to the accident, each had significant damage and injuries were reported.
Accident: The driver of a vehicle traveling near Marschall Road and Belmont Avenue at 11:01 p.m. hit a deer; no injuries were reported.

Fire: Police responded to a report of a structure fire inside of a home on Simpkins Avenue at 1:41 p.m. The Prior Lake Fire Department arrived and handled the fire.
Theft: A Birchwood Avenue resident reported to police at 2:48 p.m. that a lawn mower he had stored in a shed under his deck had been stolen.
Accident: A person turned in a backpack to police that was found in Lakefront Park. Its owner came to the police department to retrieve it that evening.

Accident: Police responded to a high-priority accident that occurred at 7:21 p.m. near the intersection of Mystic Lake Drive and Dakotah Parkway. Upon arrival, they found a motorcycle crash with injuries.
