April 20, 2026
Accident: Two vehicles collided at approximately 4:19 p.m. near the intersection of 140th Street and Crownline Drive. One vehicle was traveling westbound on 140th and was struck by another that was attempting to turn northbound onto Crownline. Both drivers complained of minor injuries and one was transported to a medical facility. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Domestic: A 23-year-old Prior Lake resident was arrested on a gross misdemeanor for interfering with a 911 call and domestic assault for committing acts to cause fear. Police were called to Toronto Avenue at 8:24 p.m.

April 21, 2026
Traffic Criminal: A 25-year-old Burnsville resident was arrested for gross misdemeanor third degree DWI, gross misdemeanor DWI with one aggravating factor and exceeding the speed limit. The incident occurred at 12:25 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 82 and Majestic Lane.
Accident: One driver was backing out of a parking space on 160th Street and hit the front passenger side of another vehicle. He left the scene without realizing he had struck the vehicle but returned later to exchange information. There were no injuries and both vehicles were drivable. The incident was reported at 5:11 p.m.
Found: Four orange Sea Choice life jackets packed in a clear bag were said to be blocking the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and Raspberry Ridge at 6:10 p.m. Police were not successful in attempting to find the owner of the property, so all were placed into evidence for safekeeping but could be destroyed if not claimed within 30 days.

April 22, 2026
Found: A cell phone found in Ponds Park was reported to police at 7:54 p.m. Attempts to contact the owner were not successful. The phone was placed into the property recovered unit within the police department.
Accident: A person backing out of a driveway at 10:45 p.m. near Candy Cove Trail and Lemley Circle hit another vehicle that was legally parked on the side of the road. The driver reported being unable to see the other vehicle in the dark and his rear passenger side bumper caused minor damages to both vehicles. There were no injuries.
Fraud: A resident living on 150th Street reported to police at 12:14 p.m. that they were a victim of identity theft.
Accident: A woman reported that on April 10 an accident occurred at approximately 4:15 p.m. on Highway 13. She was backing out of a parking spot, noticed another vehicle was doing the same, and pulled forward to avoid a crash. The other party reportedly continued backing out and struck her vehicle. The two agreed to handle the incident on their own, but the woman who backed into the other later said she did not want to pay for damages. Police mailed information to both parties.

April 23, 2026
Traffic Criminal: A 38-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 1:05 a.m. on Five Hawks Avenue for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI with one aggravating factor and gross misdemeanor DWI, after registering .08 or more blood alcohol content within two hours.
Found: A person reported at 5:05 p.m. that a suitcase had been left on the sidewalk near Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue. Upon arrival, people walking in the area said a vehicle had stopped and grabbed the suitcase.
Suspicious: A resident living on 160th Street told police he found a lawnmower in his yard and asked if someone had contacted police to report it missing or stolen. He also wanted to know what he could do with it if it went unclaimed. The report was made at 6:02 p.m.

April 24, 2026
Traffic Criminal: A 27-year-old Farmington man was arrested for third-degree DWI driving while impaired, operating a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of .19 and excessive speed.
Lost Property: A woman living on Northwood Road called police at 11:24 a.m. to report that her two wedding rings valued at $50,000 were lost on a recent vacation to another state. She had them at the airport, but did not remember the last time she saw them. Theft was not suspected, but rather, she had misplaced them. She had been advised by her insurance company to make a lost property report; the report was for documentation only.

April 25, 2026
Accident: Two vehicles collided at approximately 11:24 a.m. on the roundabout located on Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue. Moderate damage was done to both vehicles.
Aggravated Assault: A 39-year-old Prior Lake woman was arrested for felony second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and misdemeanor domestic assault. The incident was reported at 1:46 p.m. on Wilderness Circle.

April 26, 2026
Suspicious: A Willow Beach Street resident called police at 12:55 a.m. to report a male sitting on their front steps. Officers checked the area and did not locate the person.
Accident: A person traveling east on Flandreau Trail at 7:59 a.m. lost control of their vehicle, hit a yield sign and then hit a light pole. The car needed to be towed from the site; no injuries were reported.
Found: A person reported at 2:57 p.m. finding 50 American Eagle ammunition rounds laying in the roadway near Fish Point Road and Wilderness Trail. Upon arrival, police found 50 damaged rounds spread throughout the roadway. All were collected and placed into evidence for safekeeping.
