June 1, 2026
Accident: Two vehicles collided at approximately 9:33 a.m. near the intersection of 154th Street and Eagle Creek Avenue. The driver of one vehicle hit the rear driver’s side of the other, causing damage to the tires. Both vehicles needed to be towed from the scene, but neither party was injured.
Information: A resident living on Dakota Street called police at 12:28 p.m. after reportedly seeing a man had posted on his Facebook page a video of a woman being hit by a car. Police searched the Facebook account but could find no record of the incident.
Found: An Oakland Beach Avenue resident came to the police department and turned in a Minnesota driver’s license she had found near the end of her driveway. The reporting party mentioned that the license may belong to the Amazon driver who had stopped by her home earlier that day.
Accident: One vehicle that was stopped at the roundabout at Highway 13 and Eagle Creek Avenue was rear-ended by another at 4:50 p.m. No injuries were reported, and both drivers were able to drive away from the scene.
Suspicious: Police received an iPhone crash notification that came from an area near Eagle Creek Circle and Raspberry Ridge Road. They located a man who said the phone had fallen off of a vehicle. As he was driving away, the officer noticed the man’s vehicle was smoking and starting to leak oil. He assisted the person with getting the car pushed to a safe location and called assistance.

June 2, 2026
Accident: Two vehicles were involved in a crash at 12:13 p.m. near the intersection of county roads 82 and 83. The driver of one car said his foot had fallen asleep, causing his vehicle to drift into the other’s lane. No injuries were reported.
Fraud: A Wilds Ridge resident came to the police department at 2:13 p.m. to report an attempted scam, with the person calling imitating Apple support. The resident did not lose any money but wanted the incident documented.
Hazard: Police were called to Dakota Street at 9 p.m. after a resident reported the smell of natural gas was coming from a stove. The Prior Lake Fire Department handled the call.

June 3, 2026
Accident: A three-car accident was reported at 8:47 a.m. at County Road 42 and Pike Lake Trail. One driver was traveling westbound on County Road 42 and told police they were being tailgated by the other two. The car following her reportedly stopped suddenly to avoid a collision with the first vehicle, which resulted in a rear-end crash with the third. Two of the vehicles had no damage; the third sustained minor damage.
Fraud: A Jeffers Pass resident reported at 10:32 a.m. receiving a mailer from the U.S. Deputy Sheriff’s Association requesting a donation. The resident thought it appeared to be fraudulent. A police department staff member called the phone number that was listed on the mailer and confirmed this to be the case. The resident said she had not sent any money.
Accident: A hit-and-run accident was reported at 12:39 p.m. on Duluth Avenue.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 4:40 p.m. near Highway 13 and Boudin Street. One vehicle was stopped for a red light facing west on South Park Drive, as was the second driver who sneezed and let her foot off of the brake, causing it to hit the car in front of it. Minor damage was reported on the front passenger side bumper. The other vehicle sustained moderate damage to the rear driver’s side bumper.
Hazard: Police were called at 5:05 p.m. following a report of water coming from a drain that was located near Chatonka Trail and Dove Court. The public works department was contacted.
Disturbance: Police were called to Crimson Court at 6:39 p.m. after a report was made involving kids who were ding-dong-ditching. The resident located them down the street and temporarily confiscated their scooters. Parents were involved and advised that their children should stay off of the other resident’s property.

June 4, 2026
Hazard: An Island View Circle resident reported a broken gas line at 9:14 a.m. that was caused by construction that was being done in the area. The police and fire departments responded to the scene.
Fraud: A Fountain Hills Court resident came to the police department to report he had received a phone call from someone claiming to be an officer who had a warrant for his arrest. The caller wanted the man to send money from his bank account to avoid being arrested. The resident did not follow the orders but was concerned about the amount of information the caller knew about him. Police said it’s a common scam tactic to search the internet for data and advised the man on how to avoid scams in the future.
Warrant: A 56-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested on a Scott County gross misdemeanor warrant for tax evasion. The arrest was made at 6:09 p.m. on Park Nicollet Avenue.
Traffic Criminal: A 24-year-old Shakopee woman was arrested for fourth-degree DWI, driving while impaired, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of .10 and failure to drive in a single lane. The arrest was made at 9:17 p.m. near the intersection of 154th Street and Mystic Lake Drive.

June 5, 2026
Accident: Two vehicles were involved in a crash that happened at 11:12 a.m. near the intersection of County Road 42 and Eagle Creek Avenue. One was going eastbound on County Road 42, while the other was traveling westbound. One vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage and needed to be towed from the scene. Moderate damage was done to the other. No injuries were reported.
Accident: Two cars traveling westbound on County Road 42 near Crest Avenue were involved in a crash at 3:45 p.m. One driver rear-ended the car traveling in front of her, which pushed it across the median and into oncoming traffic on County Road 42. The vehicle came to a stop on the sidewalk. Both drivers sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital.
Found: An iPhone in a black case was turned over to police after being found at Sand Point Beach. Police were able to get into the phone and called the owner’s cousin who came to pick up the phone.
Accident: Police received a report of an accident that involved a car and a bike near Lords Street and Fairbanks Trail. No injuries were reported. The incident occurred at 7:37 p.m.
Traffic Criminal: A 21-year-old Savage man was arrested at 8:13 p.m. near the intersection of Edgewater Circle and Lords Street for third-degree DWI, refusing to submit to a chemical test, fourth-degree driving while impaired and using a wireless communication device.

June 6, 2026
Traffic Criminal: A 36-year-old Savage man was arrested on 160th Street for fourth-degree DWI, driving while impaired, operating a motor vehicle while under the influence with a blood alcohol concentration of .14, failure to turn at an intersection and failure to drive in a single lane.
Traffic Criminal: A 52-year-old man was arrested for gross misdemeanor third-degree driving while impaired with the blood alcohol concentration of .16, third-degree DWI with one aggravating factor, petty misdemeanor failure to obey a traffic control device and failure to drive in a single lane. The arrested occurred at 11:32 p.m. near the intersection of County Road 21 and Adelmann Street.
Found: A person found a black iPhone while at Cleary Lake beach at 2:59 p.m. and turned it over to police. The phone was locked, making it impossible to find its owner or determine the phone number. The phone was logged into evidence at the police department.
