Prior Lake's Boy Scout Pack 331 walked off with blue ribbon honors at the Wacouta Scout Fun Fair with their entry of "Pinewood Derby Racers." From left to right are Cub Scouts Rex Peterson, Ronald Lutz and John Lutz, assistance Cubmaster. Standing is Cliff Peterson, assistant Cubmaster. Pack 331 was invited to participate in the Indianhead Council's Metropolitan Scout Fun Fair at the state fairgrounds. Lyle Grimmer served as the Cubmaster in 1966 for Pack 331, which was sponsored by the Prior Lake Lions Club.

Volleyoops Champs! 
The Prior Lake Cubs, winning 19 out of 21 games in the men's winter volleyball league, were crowned the "Volleyoops" champs in early March. Team members included Calvin Brown, Fred Schultz, Bill Chalmers, Roger Briest, Gordon Hennen, Pat Keckeisen, Courtlin Story and Gary McDougal.

The Prior Lake boys' basketball team was earned co-champions honors in the Missota Conference in 1966. Team players included Mike Keckeisen, Henry Grapper, Ron Tieben, Brad Nelson, Wayne Borchardt, Tom Keckeisen, Bruce Dueffert, Eddie Speiker, Dave Hovland, Joe Hess and Lowell Carpenter. The team was coached by Mike Jerabek and Court Story.
