The Scott County Public Safety Foundation will host its annual golf tournament fundraiser scheduled for Aug. 26 at Legends Golf Club in Prior Lake to support the “Choose Not to Use” program.
The program promotes substance abuse prevention efforts in Scott County, including educational speakers at schools and within local communities, as well as preventative measures such as vape detectors in school buildings. A high school scholarship program is being added this year to support high school students who have overcome addiction challenges.
