This report is based on information submitted by the Prior Lake Police Department for responses between Dec. 23 – 30, 2025. All calls for service may not be included; all subjects arrested and named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
December 23
Motor Vehicle: Police received a report of a stolen motor vehicle at 3:34 a.m. that occurred on Dakota Trail. The case is pending finalization of the report.
Drugs: Charges involving alleged possession of drugs are being reviewed following an incident investigated by police at 4:03 p.m. on Majestic Lane.
Hazard: A report of a stalled vehicle at Highway 13 and Panama Avenue was received at 5:28 p.m. Upon arrival, police provided emergency traffic control and called a towing service.
Traffic Criminal: A 56-year-old Prior Lake man was arrested at 6:01 p.m. on Fish Point Road for third degree driving while impaired with an aggravating factor, second degree driving while impaired for refusal to submit to a chemical test and a traffic violation.
Disturbance: Police responded to a report of an unwanted guest at 6:46 p.m. from a resident living on Timber Crest Drive.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 9:44 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 13 and County Road 42.
Accident: An accident resulted in front-end damage to a vehicle driven by a woman while traveling on County Road 17, near the intersection of County Road 42 at approximately 10 p.m. The woman said she had struck a deer and already called for a towing service.

December 24
Suspicious: Police were dispatched to the intersection of Eagle Creek Avenue and County Road 42 at 1:02 p.m. to investigate a report of a suspicious person near the power boxes. Dispatch advised that they could view the subject on their cameras and he was a contractor.
Theft: A 31-year-old resident of New Brighton was cited for theft at 3:45 p.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard.
Weapons: A 19-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at 6:35 p.m. on Dakota Trail for felony drug possession and felony receiving of stolen property. An 18-year-old Prior Lake woman was also arrested for a gross misdemeanor involving obstruction of legal process.
Assault: A 26-year-old man from Suttons Bay was arrested at 10:32 p.m. on Park Avenue for domestic assault, strangulation, causing fear and inflicting harm.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred on Duluth Avenue at 10:54 p.m. The incident is under investigation.

December 25
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from this location with time noted: Tranquility Court, 11:29 p.m.
December 26
Accident: Police investigated a report of an accident that occurred at 7:26 a.m. on Highway 13. One driver was backing out of a parking space and made contact with another car. Information was exchanged between the drivers.
Motor Vehicle: A motor vehicle was reported stolen at 8:42 a.m. The incident reportedly occurred on Sioux Trail and the case has been sent for review of charges.
Accident: Drivers who were involved in an accident that happened on Fairlawn Shore Trail at approximately 7:36 p.m. exchanged insurance information prior to police arriving at the scene.

December 27
Assault: A 53-year-0ld Prior Lake man was arrested at 1:24 a.m. on Five Hawks Avenue for felony kidnapping, no consent; felony assault, second degree with a dangerous weapon; felony assault, strangulation; gross misdemeanor, emergency telephone call communication interference; gross misdemeanor, obstructing legal process and interference with a police officer; misdemeanor domestic assault, intentionally causing harm, committing an act with intent to cause fear; no contact order violation.
Drugs: A 35-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested at 6:06 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for a misdemeanor warrant issued by Hennepin County for DWI.
Medical: Police responded to the following requests for medical assistance from these locations with time noted: Fountain Hills Drive, 8:33 a.m.; Credit River Road, 9:21 a.m.; Turner Drive, 11:57 a.m.; Credit River Road, 1:20 p.m.; Walnut Avenue, 10:34 p.m.; Wildwood Court, 11:11 p.m.
December 28
Assist: Police assisted a party that had gone into the ditch at 10:18 a.m. near County Road 83 and Stonecrest. All occupants were uninjured and were working on digging the car out.
Fire: Police received a report of a fire at 10:25 a.m. near Highway 13 and Franklin Trail. They found a power line on fire, but it was put out a short time later by the snow that was falling. Xcel Energy was notified of the issue.
Assist: A vehicle traveling on Eagle Creek Avenue near Grainwood Circle hit the shoulder due to icy road conditions at approximately 10:55 a.m. The vehicle’s axle was damaged and a towing service was contacted by the owner.
Assist: While on routine patrol at 11:26 a.m., police encountered a vehicle stuck in the middle of the roadway at County Road 42 and Conroy Street. Police assisted in getting the vehicle back on the roadway.

December 29
Accident: A driver traveling eastbound at 6:15 a.m. on County Road 42 began to slide when approaching County Road 21, was unable to stop and made contact with the rear bumper of another vehicle. Minor, non-disabling damage was done to both vehicles.
Drugs: A 54-year-0ld St. Cloud man was arrested at 10:47 a.m. on Mystic Lake Boulevard for misdemeanor domestic abuse, violating an order for protection and possession of drugs.
Accident: No injuries were reported following an accident that occurred at 1:14 p.m. near the intersection of Crest Avenue and County Road 42. The driver of one vehicle rear-ended another vehicle; both sustained minor damage. The drivers exchanged information and left the scene prior to police arriving.
Fraud: Police received a report of identity fraud at 4:51 p.m. from a resident living on Aspen Avenue.

December 30
Hazard: Police responded to a report of a stalled vehicle at 1:01 a.m. near the intersection of Mystic Lake Drive and Wilds Path. A towing service was called.
Accident: The driver of one vehicle struck another at 8:26 a.m. when approaching the roundabout at Eagle Creek and Arcadia Avenues. The second vehicle sustained minor damage after sliding into the rear of the first. Police noted the roads were covered with snow and ice when the collision occurred.
Disturbance: Police were called to the Prior Lake Post Office at 11:37 a.m. A woman was reported to be upset because she felt her mail was not being delivered to her home. Postal employees confirmed all mail is being delivered.
