End-of-Year Staff Awards

Each year, staff nominations are solicited by Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools to celebrate successes in the categories listed below. This year’s award winners were announced on June 5 and include:

2025-26 Secondary Educators of Excellence

2025-26 Elementary Educators of Excellence

• Sarah Bowman, Five Hawks Elementary – 4th-grade Teacher
• Sam Schenkelberg, La ola del lago – Dean of Students

2025-26 Secondary Outstanding Service Awards

• Katie Haycraft, Hidden Oaks Middle School – Student Services
• Steve Raby, Prior Lake High School – Custodian

2025-26 Elementary Outstanding Service Awards

• Molly Link, WestWood Elementary – SPED Paraprofessional
• Tracey Sandoval, Five Hawks Elementary – Lead Building Administrative Assistant

2025-26 District Outstanding Service Award

• Paul Hadden – Lead Inside Maintenance

2025-26 District Leadership Award

• Dr. Michael Thomas – Superintendent

2025-26 Activities Advisor of the Year

• Hannah Ring – Unified Club Advisor

2025-26 Coach of the Year

• Patrick Kloeckner – Prior Lake Girls Gymnastics Head Coach

District Service Awards were given to those individuals who have served the district for five, 10, 20 and 30 years. District retirees were also recognized.
