With just one game on the schedule due to the holiday week, the Prior Lake boys hockey team faced a tough test Tuesday night against conference opponent Rosemount, ranked No. 11 in the Let’s Play Hockey Class AA state rankings.
Rosemount scored twice in the first period and added two more goals in the third to earn a 4–0 win. Despite the final score, the game was closer than it appeared statistically, with the Irish holding only a 32–27 advantage in shots on goal.
Junior goaltender Preston Kulics stopped 28 of 32 shots for Prior Lake.
