Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools kindergarten enrollment for the 2026-27 school year is now open.
The district encouraged families to enroll between now and the Jan. 9, 2026, deadline. Early enrollment helps the district plan for needs in each classroom. More than 500 kindergarten students attended one of six PLSAS schools in the 2025-26 school year.
Enrollment is available on the school district’s website or in-person from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the District Services Center at 4540 Tower St. SE. The District Services Center is closed from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. daily.
PLSAS students attend elementary school based on residence boundaries assigned by their address, but families both in and outside the district can opt to send their student to a different school via either an in-district transfer or through open enrollment.
PLSAS residents may request an in-district transfer to another school via the form on the website. Requests are reviewed by the principal of the school and the district. A separate application must be submitted for each child. Families are responsible for providing transportation.
Non-residents may also enroll through the open enrollment option. Transportation is available from the nearest in-district bus stop.
